Help children keep their teeth for life

“Everyone goes that extra mile to provide a great service. My family are all patients there too. That must speak volumes.”

- Melanie

Dedicated children’s days

We are pleased to offer dedicated children’s days when the practice is even more child friendly than normal! Fancy dress, extra stickers, competitions and games – we have it all.

Our children’s days are always run during school holidays and have proved to be very popular with our younger patients and parents alike. Visit us for:

  • fancy dress, activities, balloons, education, colouring in and more…
  • children see the dentist and our therapist carries out treatment
  • we are happy to see siblings all together
  • NHS provision
  • preventive treatments such as fissure sealants and fluoride treatments available

Interested? Please contact us now to see if we can see your child on our next kids’ day. We usually host one each half term and booking us essential because places get snapped up quickly.

Children’s dentistry

At Tutbury Dental Practice in Burton on Trent we encourage children to attend appointments with you from birth to allow them to grow up with a reassuring experience of dental care and what it involves. We find this is the best way to alleviate any anxiety and allows us to make sure their milk teeth are developing as they should.

Prevent gum disease

Children are born free from dental disease, yet in the UK almost a third of children aged under five have tooth decay and by the time they become teenagers there’s a 50 per cent chance they will have some form of gum disease. This is a real concern as gum disease has been linked to serious illnesses including heart disease, strokes, lung disease, diabetes and arthritis. Help prevent gum disease with regular dental and hygiene visits.

Strong, healthy teeth

We provide preventive treatments such as fissure sealants and fluoride treatment where appropriate to ensure your children’s teeth remain strong and healthy, after all, if looked after properly their teeth should last for life.

We are generally able to offer free NHS care for children and teenagers subject to availability and NHS regulations.
