Keeping your mouth spotlessly clean and your gums healthy

“I have been a patient for over 20 years and during that time I have received excellent dentist and hygiene care. Always cheerful and reassuring, Tutbury have nurtured me and encouraged me to follow good hygiene routines that have had measurable and positive results.”

Hygiene therapy

Our aim is to improve your long-term dental wellbeing. The health of your mouth, teeth and gums is vitally important, as your dental health reflects your general health.

We understand that everyone wants their dentist to give them a clean bill of health and our mission is to achieve just that through a combination of superb dental care, expert advice and education.

Healthy gums

Our hygienists Kerry Seamark, Sue Bonsall and Hannah Parker, who is also a dental therapist, will help keep your mouth spotlessly clean and your gums healthy. They will remove the bacterial plaque that builds up between visits, ridding you of the plaque that contributes to decay, gum disease and bad breath.

They will also teach you how improve your oral health routine at home and also provide treatment for sensitive teeth and fissure sealant coatings.

Regular visits are vital

During your examinations we consider so much more than just your teeth. We also encourage healthy eating, offer smoking cessation tips and give diet advice. Regular visits will help keep your mouth in great shape, prevent bad breath and provide life-saving early detection of mouth cancer, which kills one person every five hours in the UK and is diagnosed in more than 5,000 people each year

We tailor an oral health routine your individual requirements to ensure an optimum home care routine. The care and advice Kerry, Sue and Hannah provide in your hygiene sessions will prolong the life of your teeth and give you a brighter, fresher, healthier smile.

Plan for better oral health

Hygiene appointments are a crucial part of our on-going care plans and patients receive 40 minutes of private hygiene therapy each year when joining our standard adult membership plan.

Alternatively, you can visit us whenever you like by arranging extra sessions at any time by calling our reception team and making a booking. There’s no need to see a dentist first, just book a hygiene session whenever you want that professionally clean feeling.
